Curtia Wright is a multidisciplinary Fine Artist, Mural Artist and Arts Educator based in Toronto, Ontario. Her work fuses elements of fantasy, sci-fi and surrealism with vibrant transportive colours to animate their environments. The work she creates looks at mental health, metaphysics, and the ephemerality of dreams and memory through a sci-fi lens.

We're glad you asked! Like everything we do here at Grounded People, creating an Artist Collaboration Collection came from the desire to offer something unique while positively impacting the communities in which we work and live. That's why we've made a unique collection that an artist of your choosing can customize.
- Fill out and submit the order request form by selecting the artist, size and shoe you'd like custom painted.
- Receive the shoes and try them on to ensure they fit correctly. If we need to exchange sizes, we will. Once sizing is confirmed, we will provide a pre-paid mailing slip and instructions to send the shoes to the artist, including any personal notes on the inspiration for the design.
- The Artist receives the shoe with design inspiration and creates a mock design to confirm it's what you want; once confirmed, the fun begins. It's time to paint!
- Artist sends the shoes back so you can enjoy them as a piece on a mantel or dressed up and worn out to your next big event.
