We focus on local action to address global climate challenges, developing inclusive, practical initiatives to reduce pollution and enhance climate resilience. Since 2010, we’ve prioritized working with BIPOC communities most affected by climate change. Our efforts include partnering with grassroots groups, securing funding for climate solutions, and ensuring fair implementation of climate legislation. Committed to promoting racial, social, and environmental equity, Climate Resolve staff consistently integrate these principles throughout our work.

Rebuilding the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil Our partners in Brazil are working to reconnect the Morro do Diablo State Park and the Black Lion Tamarin Ecological station, two core areas of the Upper Parana Atlantic Rainforest Biosphere Reserve. This will be Brazil’s largest reforestation corridor. It will create 60,000 hectares of connected forest for endemic and endangered species and improve the livelihoods of countless families.

Providing a Safe Haven for Children and Youth in Canada KidSafe opens when schools close, supporting the 1 in 5 Vancouver children living in poverty. For many local children, out-of-school periods can mean instability, hunger, and loneliness. By helping KidSafe, you provide vulnerable kids with safety, health, and happiness they need. Children are referred by school staff or social workers for a secure, accessible environment during school breaks.

KidSafe programs cover Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks, a comprehensive Youth Program, and after-school activities, ensuring year-round stability for the children and youth we serve.

Creating A Conscious Fashion Future Fashion Takes Action (FTA) is a non-profit organization established in 2007 to advance sustainability in the fashion industry through education, awareness, research, and collaboration. They achieve this through various initiatives such as the WEAR Conference, Sustainable Fashion Toolkit, youth education program, through various research projects related to circularity in fashion, as well as meet-ups, speaking engagements, and global awareness campaigns. As a volunteer-run, registered charity in Duncan, BC, they provide a safe haven for rescued farm animals from various circumstances.

Established in September 2017, they're Canada's first and only farm sanctuary accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. With nearly 200 residents—including pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, poultry, dogs, guinea pigs, and cats—they ensure top-quality care and safety for all animals. They also offer educational workshops, seminars, and presentations on animal practices, rescue, and care.

Rainbow Refugee offers support, information, and guidance to refugees and refugee claimants pursuing asylum in Canada. They oversee the Rainbow Refugee Assistance Partnership, enabling private refugee sponsorship in collaboration with other LGBTQI+ organizations within the Rainbow Coalition for Refuge.
